With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Ruth Brett, on October 11, 2017.
Ruth joined STRONE in 2001 with extensive experience and a wealth of contacts in the insurance restoration industry. Her dedication to our industry and STRONE’s clients was exemplary. Her respect amongst fellow restoration professionals was extraordinary.
Ruth was a critical part of STRONE’s CAT response and commercial restoration claims. Over her career, Ruth received many accolades for her attentive and respectful nature. Ruth will be sadly missed by STRONE’s past and present employees, along with industry friends. We all wish her peace.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day – unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
“Ruth was one of the first people I met at STRONE and it didn’t take me long to realize what a warm and kind person she was and someone who could be counted on always day or night. She was always there for you if you needed help or advice and she was an encyclopedia of vendors! If you needed a specialized vendor for any job Ruth was your first call. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing and will always have fond memories of her. She will be missed by many of her friends and colleagues within the Restoration/Insurance industry for sure. My sincerest condolences go out to Mike and the rest of the Brett family. Rest in Peace Ruth. Cheers!”
“I know everyone will remember a super knowledgeable women in her field. But also when I spoke to her about her boys as young she was very proud. Then when her sons married and had children Ruth lit up like a Christmas Tree telling me about how beautiful they were and how much she loved them. I will always remember Ruth as a very dear person and I was honoured to have known her.”
