FLOOD AND WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION
With crews on call 24/7, STRONE provides rapid response to flood and water damage emergency calls including sump pump failures, burst pipes, sewer backups, storm events, and more.
24/7 Emergency Response
Upon arrival, IICRC trained personnel (water damage and advanced structural drying) will assess the situation. Crews will conduct necessary water extraction, along with timely removal of wet building materials. These materials include carpet and under pad, as well as drywall and other cellulose materials that might provide a food source for mould growth.
Our drying technicians will provide the tools and know-how to ensure the drying of your building is carried out in the quickest and most efficient manner. Installation of drying equipment including dehumidifiers and high velocity air movers will be conducted promptly. Drying, rather than replacing affected materials results in lower restoration costs and reduced home or business interruption times.
While the health of structures are the major concern, so too are the contents within them. These include personal items, electronics, documents, furniture, linens, hard contents, and more. When key initial steps are implemented promptly, positive restoration results are more likely to occur. Contents are inventoried and moved to a secure location for further assessment, cleaning, or disposal.
In the event of water damage, impacted areas are cleaned and an anti-microbial agent is applied to impacted areas to prevent mould growth. Daily monitoring of humidity and moisture levels will be conducted with thermal imagery and moisture reading equipment.
Water Damage Restoration
When emergency work is completed, we turn our attention to the restoration stage. Your project manager will formulate an estimate for restoration work to put your home back to pre-loss condition under your insurer’s guidelines and pricing. Once the estimate is approved by your insurance carrier and with your authorization STRONE will proceed with the restoration work.
Throughout this entire process, your STRONE Project Manager will work with you, keeping you updated on progress and communicating next steps in the process. STRONE crews and trades are professionals and understand the stress you are experiencing from this situation. Together, our entire STRONE team has one common goal, to lend your family a helping hand as we work toward returning your home and your lives back to normal.
