PROJECT MANAGERS

STRONE is looking for Junior and Senior Project Managers throughout Ontario. We are looking for hard working individuals with a can do attitude, great initiatives, and a willingness to learn and grow. Sound construction knowledge along with experience in the restoration industry, particularly in the Water Damage and Fire clean up are key components for this challenging position.

Some responsibilities of the position include:

  • Scoping and sketching on new claims
  • Management of all files
  • Creating estimates for the insurance companies
  • Scheduling crew emergency files, restoration files and estimates
  • Developing and maintaining client relations with local insurance groups
  • Selling STRONE to local industries to be the restoration company of choice
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Training will be provided as needed

Skills needed to be a successful Project Manager:

  • Organization
  • Knowledge of the insurance claims industry
  • Able to use Xactimate and Symbility
  • Knowledge of building construction
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, manage and delegate fellow employees
  • IICRC accreditation is an asset

RESTORATION TECHNICIANS

As STRONE continues to grow we are looking for dedicated and experienced remediation Technicians to join various GTA locations. This is a hands-on position, but may develop into a larger role as the Division grows depending on the skills and interest of the incumbent.

Specific duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Set-up and installation air movement equipment and portable dehumidification equipment.
  • Participate in site demolition, and work with other STRONE employees, as well as oversee sub-trades.
  • Complete documentation of job site work.
  • Pick up equipment from completed jobs.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Provide assistance with general trade duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year remediation experience or experience within a similar environment.
  • WRT or other IICRC certifications would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal safety.
  • Ability to work extended hours and respond to emergencies.
  • Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory protection.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Drivers licence in good standing.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.

RESTORATION TRADES

As STRONE continues to grow we are looking for a dedicated and experienced remediation Technicians to join various GTA locations. This is a hands-on position, but may develop into a larger role as the Division grows depending on the skills and interest of the incumbent.

  • Pick up equipment from completed jobs.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Provide assistance with general technician duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of renovation/remediation experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal safety.
  • Ability to work extended hours and respond to emergencies.
  • Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory protection.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Drivers licence in good standing.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
